JESUS

ATONEMENT: Through the atonement of Jesus Christ and own good works, we can be saved and return to live with our Heavenly Father.

BAPTISM: We read in Matt 3:15, that “it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness.” Jesus Christ was a perfect man and he was still baptized to set a precedent for his followers.

CHARITY: Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of one who lived a life of charity. A charitable person is forgiving, understanding, service-oriented, humble, always willing to help, and always looks at people in a tolerant or favorable way.

FAITH: Faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true.” Jesus Christ lived a life guided by strong faith and encourages us to do the same.

FASTING: Jesus Christ taught us the importance of fasting throughout His earthly ministry. He taught that through fasting, we can feel a heightened sense of the spirit and strengthen our relationship with God
